The Feature Mastering Coordinator is supporting internal and external partners to help drive and implement universal standards for overall asset flow, file ingest, and organization of all media. The coordinator will be a key support person working across studio divisions to help identify business needs and requirements and assist in developing digital asset management strategies! Focus areas will be coordinating receipt of video, audio, subtitle elements to support the studio's distribution supply chain, meeting with production personnel to discuss technical specifications, offering support for production workflows and partnering with the Systems and Workflow team to support application/tool development and utilization across the end-to-end supply chain.
Responsibilities
• Work with and support internal & external production vendors to interact with Sony's asset landing portals & assist with supervising incoming assets/tracking.
• Planning & scheduling the delivery of source materials (video, audio, subtitles) for title distribution.
• Work across Sony departments to ensure goals and targets are met for projects/ingests for distribution & servicing needs.
• Provide support to the overall team on special projects, build Excel spreadsheets, analyze data and power point presentations.
• Build process documentation pertaining to the systems/applications used within the department and provide training on these systems/processes.
• Analyze data to streamline processes and to reduce rejection rates for delivery assets.
Requirements
• Bachelors degree preferred
• Working knowledge of video & audio including video encoding specs, subtitles, video packing, digital media workflows and asset management
• 3 years of TV & Film delivery distribution, including intake and delivery of source material
