This is a Full Time Job
This role functions to implement marketing initiatives on national, regional, and theater-specific scales in conjunction with the Sony Pictures Classics Sales and Marketing departments. Attention to detail is essential as all tasks must be completed efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment. Best candidates will demonstrate a passion for independent films and the theatrical experience. The Exhibitor Relations Coordinator's duties include, but are not limited to:
• Coordination of national trailer placement to effectively promote multiple films in a packed slate.
• Compilation and presentation of a weekly trailer placement report to be shared with company executives and producers.
• Shipment of one sheets (posters) and specialty material.
• Regular meetings with theatre managers at various Manhattan theatres to better facilitate placement of trailers and posters and ensure that said materials are posted as requested.
• Data entry
• Processing invoices
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree from 4 yr. college preferred
• Strong written and oral communication skills, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• 1 - 2 years related experience
The anticipated base salary for this position is $24.17/hour to 27.47/hour. This role may also qualify for incentives and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
