Coordinator, Business & Legal Affairs
The Coordinator directly will directly support the Business & Legal Affairs and Production departments at Embassy Row for the current slate of projects at the various stages, development, pre-launch, and production.
Responsibilities
• Create and execute internal and client-facing production calendars.
• Oversee the routing and execution of various legal documents while maintaining a contract repository.
• Collaborate with development executives and finance teams on budgeting, allocating, and tracking development funds.
• Identify and organize third-party vendors to deliver elements that can't be produced in-house.
• Draft standard routine agreements and releases using templates incorporating approved core terms.
• Manage and organize documents required by Production, Legal and Finance.
• Coordinate and join meetings with Production and Business & Legal Affairs executives.
• Create and maintain accurate and detailed Production and Business & Legal Affairs project document trackers.
• Manage deadlines and progress across the team to ensure projects are on track from development through pre-launch and through the start of the production period.
• Ensure that all project production activities conform to Embassy Row's production guidelines.
• Communicate at regular intervals with Production and Business & Legal Affairs project staff in order to maintain updated internal facing progress documents.
• Attend key meetings throughout production period with project production staff and clients for internal visibility.
• Review projects deliverable documents to ensure they meet contracted specifications prior to last day of show staff and final wrap of projects principal production period.
• Locate and complete any missing documentation or the replacement of incorrect data after submission to client after wrap of projects principal production period.
Qualifications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding of production legal language and basic principles
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgment
• Knowledge of television content production
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software and Adobe Acrobat
The anticipated base salary for this position is $50,000 to $66,000. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
