Role Summary:
The Manager of Billing Operations will be responsible for managing and overseeing the billing processes within the domestic scripted division of TV. This role will ensure accurate and timely billing for all services rendered, liaise with internal departments to resolve billing issues, and maintain comprehensive billing records. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in billing administration, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Billing Management: Tracking and triggering all billing deal points to the appropriate recipient based on contracts and production schedules.
• Data Analysis: Collaborate with the Xpanse team and internal stakeholders to improve and maintain billing metrics and dashboards.
• Issue Resolution: Work closely with internal departments to identify and resolve any billing discrepancies or issues.
• Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date billing records that evolve with production and audit schedules.
• Reporting: Generate and distribute regular billing reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and trends.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline billing processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in billing administration or a related role within the TV entertainment industry.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex billing information to technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
• Industry Experience: Experience in the media and entertainment industry is a plus.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy in billing processes.
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities and projects simultaneously.
