Associate Licensing Approvals, Funimation (Dallas)

The Licensing Approvals Associate at Funimation plays an integral role to the company's content and consumer product success. Their primary responsibility is to manage product, packaging, and marketing approvals from concept to finished product to ensure product lines are on time to market and are meeting set deadlines. This role is based in Dallas, TX and reports to the Director Licensing & Merchandise.

The core responsibilities of this position include:
• Manage product, packaging and marketing approvals across multiple categories (i.e. apparel, accessories, figures, housewares, etc) overseeing development from concept to final delivery
• Manage information flow and generation of relevant project data
• Gather information for the creation of product development schedules including key milestones, statuses and priorities in process
• Ensure product lines are on time and meeting deadlines set forth
• Create and maintain brand style guides for all licensees
• Maintain and present regular updates and status reports for department meetings
• Liaise with internal teams to assist with process flows and keep approval timelines in line with market trends and company adjustments
• Providing support and information to key licensors and licensees
• Organize and update partner information
• Support specific requests from licensees including providing brand assets
• Send licensees creative materials and refresh of new materials as available
• Gather and understand licensee goals and product details in-order-to communicate to licensors
• Assist with brand marketing support including on-line and social media
• Assist with development of brand decks and other licensing presentations
• Preforms other duties as requested

The minimum qualifications and requirements for this position include:
• Computer Proficient: Office, PowerPoint or Keynote, Outlook and Internet
• Preferably with Photoshop capability
• Completed 4-year college degree
• Preferably 2-3 years of related experience, managing consumer product and packaging development from concept to final delivery
• Ability to sit for long periods of time and lift up to 30 lbs.
