In order to enable us to meet the statutory and regulatory obligations of South Korea's immigration system, you must have the appropriate immigration permission needed to work and reside in South Korea for the duration of the employment.
Based in our office in Seoul and reporting to the Marketing Director, this role will be responsible for the execution of TV, OOH and Print media buys. This includes strategic media mix planning and reporting, Home Office communications and media agency management for all theatrical ly released titles by Sony Pictures Entertainment Korea. Additionally, the Assistant Manager/Manager Marketing will support all Viral Marketing activities.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Plan and execute media strategies for all TV, OOH & Print in cooperation with internal team and agencies.
• Review and acquire media mix approval from internal stakeholders prior to execution.
• Continuously review the performance of viral and traditional media buys, adjusting strategies in real-time to enhance effectiveness.
• Draft post-campaign reports for all titles to analyze and define KPIs and metrics that maximize media efficiency and virality.
• Generate creative and stand-out marketing ideas for each title.
• Oversee drafting of Media Flight Plan for all offline media buys.
• Work closely with key agencies to gain knowledge into the latest media/viral trends and report relevant information to necessary stakeholders.
• Monitor and report competitor's activities in TV, OOH, Print media & viral marketing executions as per needed.
• Participate in monthly Home Office calls with Global Media team to discuss media strategies and present necessary reports.
Candidate Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, communications or business management.
• Typically at least 6 years' experience in media mix planning, preferably in the entertainment/content field.
• Strong understanding of viral marketing trends, tools, and strategies, particularly in the entertainment or content industry.
• A strong passion for cinema and innovative marketing techniques.
• Strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent writing and storytelling skills with a keen insight into what drives virality.
• Collaborative and excellent team player. Ability to establish good working relationships with agencies.
• Able to multitask and work under a fast-paced environment.
• Strategic thinker and someone not afraid to think outside of the box.
• Good English skills in both written and spoken.
