Assistant Manager, Brand/Digital Marketing
The Brand/Digital Assistant Marketing Manager will be responsible for working with the director implementing and executing brand and digital marketing strategies for home entertainment releases. They will coordinate with internal cross-functional teams (i.e., Media, PR, Research, Creative and Shopper Marketing) and agencies to drive product development and ensure campaign plans deliver on the overall marketing strategy. Additionally they will work with the commercial teams to determine release dates, channel/platform strategy, forecasts and go-to-market strategies.
The Marketing Assistant Manager will also liaise on a regular basis with creative executives, licensors and filmmakers. They will work with the marketing director to manage digital and social agencies driving their digital consumer plans and will keep an eye toward business/ digital trends to bring innovation and growth opportunities to SPHE.
This person should be a pro-active team player, with experience driving strategy in a fast moving environment.
Responsibilities
• Work with director to create and implement marketing and digital marketing strategies.
• Partner with the Commercial and cross functional teams to sell in the titles with key physical and digital retail accounts.
• Brainstorm and execute strategic creative tactics to be used on digital and social platforms including social creative, video, consumer email, websites and media banners.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, with excellent attention to detail.
• Present marketing campaigns internally and to filmmakers.
• Manage digital and offline vendors including writing briefs, hosting kick-off meetings, and routings when applicable in order to hit key deadlines.
• Work with Marketing Director to identify KPIs pre-launch and conduct post analysis to measure digital and social ROI.
• Assist with title specific P&Ls
Knowledge of:
• Digital Media Practices including social platforms a must
Required Experience
• 1.5 years overall experience (Digital Marketing/ CPG preferred)
• Experience working directly with social platforms and understanding of their native analytics (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, SnapChat)
• Excellent presentation skills
• Experience managing external agencies/ partners
