Artist Management Trainee - Summer/Fall 2023
SPE Trainee

This Summer/Fall Trainee position is from May/June through December 15th and all candidates must be able to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday in the specified location. This is not a remote role. A hybrid work option may or may not be available.
Department Description
This position partners with Production Management, Technology, HR, Facilities, and Artistic Recruitment to foster a working environment that supports the creative process.
Responsibilities
• Supports the Artist Management department in all aspects of production crewing and scheduling
• Assists the Artist Management department with requests relating to artistic casting and production needs
• Acts as lead for new employee onboarding, including creation of Sony ID, obtaining badge, workspace setup and new hire tickets.
• Partners across departments to ensure seamless onboarding and a positive first day experience.
• Maintains updated portfolio links for in-house talent.
• Maintains SPA ASIFA list
• Fields artist and production ininquiries across multiple departments and partners with Facilities, Operations, HR, and Technology to escalate issues when appropriate
Qualifications
• Excellent written & oral communication skills
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Keynote & Photoshop)
• MAC proficient
• Must be detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize, ensuring all assignments are completed in an accurate and timely manner
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Must be flexible – an ability to work in an environment where needs and priorities are subject to much revision
• Preferred qualification: 1 to 2 years of experience working in Production, preferably in an animation environment or related field (internships included)
