Administrative Assistant - Sony Pictures Television
- Sony Pictures Television is in search of a strong Administrative Assistant to sit in the NY office, but support a regional office as well. The duties of the position include, but are not limited to:
• Assist Supervisor (NYC VP) and other Regional VP in all day-to-day activities
• Set up and maintain files and records which may contain confidential information for NYC VP and other Regional VP
• Screen telephone calls, incoming mail, publications, and other correspondence
• Utilize word processing equipment and/or PC in the performance of assigned duties
• Collect information needed by executive for conferences, reports and projects
• Prepare or assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled or special reports for NYC VP and other Regional VP
• Write, distribute and track all contracts at direction of executives
• Act as liaison with Sales Administration and Distribution
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management
• Coordinate with IT to troubleshoot any issues with hardware, software and all applications
• Maintain Contact Management System
• Manage all accounts payable for NYC VP and other Regional VP Sales offices
• Track Nielsen ratings and print daily and quarterly reports
• Manage program schedules and track time period discrepancies for 80 markets
• Order supplies as necessary
Travel/Meetings/Expenses
• Make travel arrangements as required
• Coordinate arrangements for executive meetings
• Process and track all expense reports for accuracy and payment
Required Skills:
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Must be able to work independently, with little supervision
• Must be detail-oriented and organized to perform efficiently
• Excellent computer skills; specifically, Word, Excel and working knowledge of PowerPoint.
• Identify work priorities and requirements up-front and make timely decisions
• Demonstrate the ability to work with all levels of management
• Demonstrate initiative, professionalism and confidentiality
