Senior Recruiter, Finance & Accounting (Contract)

Our global operations encompass motion picture production and distribution, television programming and syndication, home video acquisitions and distribution, operation of studio facilities, development of new entertainment technologies and distribution of filmed entertainment in over 67 countries.
The Global Recruitment and Inclusion team at Sony Pictures Entertainment is seeking a talented Contract Senior Recruiter for a longer term temporary assignment to source and recruit professional / managerial level talent in the area of Finance & Accounting. The ideal candidate will have experience in best-in-class candidate generation techniques such as industry networking, cold calling, Google mining, internal / external database search and management, name generation, and networking through the latest social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) This is a 2-3 month full-time project with the possibility of an extension based on recruitment volume.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients
* Provide reports and analyzes on recruiting statistics to track progress
* Provide talent pipelining and sourcing efforts on positions across the board but with primary focus on Finance & Accounting in a high volume and fast paced environment
* Provide industry trends and recommend appropriate sourcing channels, as well as executing on sourcing strategies
* Screen and Interview candidates for availability, interest level, employment eligibility, salary range, relocation needs, and basic qualifications
* Evaluate employment factors such as job experience, education, skills, training, fit with the company, and future potential
* Build pipeline of qualified candidates for future needs
Skills:
* Must be organized and detail oriented
* Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge and skills
* Must be versed in Boolean logic
* Strong written, verbal, negotiating and interpersonal skills
* Experience with major applicant tracking systems is required
* Experience in sourcing diverse candidates at all levels is highly desired
* Knowledge of employment laws for government contractors, including EEO and AAP guidelines
* Demonstrated success in sourcing techniques including lead generation, Internet, cold calling, interactive strategies, etc.
* Must have an established and reputable network of professional candidates
* Proven ability to work with demanding clients in a fast paced environment
Experience:
* Bachelors degree, preferred, or relevant professional experience
* 6+ years of experience recruiting in a corporate environment
* Fortune 500 and / or Entertainment experience is highly desired
