Mgr, Affiliate Sales

General Summary:

Oversee and support the Affiliates area and communications to the Market of (Affiliates), as well Cable-operators and the DTH group of channels of SPE Networks Platform

Responsibilities:


Serve as liaison with the affiliates market to all the region through the HBO Group


Attend the events, meetings, exhibitions (Trade Shows) in order to develop relationships and subscriber’s support, as well stay informed with the latest industry and technology trends


Meet with affiliate clients at request of HBO Group offices, in order to understand their specific needs and recommend solutions and services


Collects and consolidates the information and material required from any department in order to assist affiliates and the HBO Group offices


Monitor information and content from the Action Pack generated by HBO as an information tool for the entire channels group


Responsible for providing the tools and necessary support to the HBO Group in order to increase distribution channels throughout the Region


Prepares promotions and events to support members in association with any of the channels on the SPE platform


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:


Reports to the Channel Operations
Interact with all the departments of SPE Platform.
Work side by side with the Commercial Planning and Strategy Department
HBO Group Regional Offices
Affiliate Customers
Fully bilingual in English/Spanish, knowledge of Portuguese is desirable


Experience:


5 years of progressive experience in the affiliate areas and cable-operation of DTH require
Knowledge of Television Channels and/or subscription TV is preferred
Minimum of 2 years of managerial experience is required


Education:
Bachelor's degree is required with emphasis in Marketing and/or Communications, Masters Degree in Marketing/ Communications is preferred
