Assistant Marketing Manager/Digital Marketing Specialist

The Assistant Marketing Manager/Digital Marketing Specialist is primarily responsible for assisting the Digital Marketing Manager with implementing strategy for SPHE releases, focusing on TV on DVD, Affirm and catalog product lines. This role works closely with the DM Manager to develop and execute innovative marketing programs for products using a very targeted approach, integrating retail marketing touch points and leveraging the social landscape. This position is a Long Term Temp position.

Specific responsibilities include:

Assist the SPHE Digital Manager with title specific campaigns, and larger scale initiatives
Coordinate the creative asset production timeline, working with the Creative and Brand Marketing teams
Guided project management on select projects and initiatives
Gather campaign results and work with DM Manager to create and present Post Report
Participate in brainstorm and strategy development process
Work with many different groups and levels with SPHE Marketing (Digital Marketing, Brand Marketing, Publicity, Creative), Agency Partners (SPII, Momentum, UMi) and creative vendors
Research latest trends in digital marketing, including social, media, mobile and commerce opportunities

The ideal candidate should:

Have 2-3 years of experience in an marketing role
Excellent project management skills, with great attention to detail and able to meet specific deadlines while balancing multiple projects and priorities
Excellent communication skills
Have demonstrable problem solving and independent decision making skills
Be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Basic knowledge of HTML, Photoshop a plus
Experience at a studio or in an entertainment based business preferred
Experience in a client services role or organization
