Marketing and Publicity Coordinator
Description
Organize the delivery of all materials received from Production.
Review stills and work with co-presidents and approving parties to establish a core set.
Create promotional clips for an entire film and then narrow down a selection for approving parties.
Maintain a press website for each film with the necessary promotional materials.
Preserve an archive of all materials used in the marketing of each film.
Keep in constant contact with each film's publicist and fulfill their material needs.
Act as point of contact for film festivals with the submission process and submit materials.
Watch B-roll and cast interviews for special featurette creation.
Work with Legal and filmmakers for any needed clearances on unapproved material.
Manage deadlines for materials needed by internal and external groups.
Proofread press notes for clarity and spelling.
Validate press members for screener access.
Process invoices and allocate expenses to the appropriate film.
Cover Co-Presidents' Executive Assistant desk when needed.
Help with press events, screenings and other special projects.
