Sony Music Entertainment is a global recorded music company with a broad roster of artists including local artists and international superstars, with a vast catalog that comprises some of the most important recordings in history. Sony Music Entertainment is seeking an individual to help work on initiatives related to The Orchard and its products.
We are looking for an experienced Marketing Product Manager to join our team in Paris.
Responsibilities
• Overseeing the release process from start to finish.
• Ensuring timely management of submissions to hit release deadlines.
• Retail marketing – working in conjunction with sales and labels to provide best possible retail profile
• Advise on best practice on digital and physical sales strategy
• Advising and executing on general marketing, plot and strategy across all label releases
• Lead, implement and conduct all marketing strategies related to album releases
• In charge of projects planning and execution in respect of to the deadlines and budgets
• Implement and develop partnerships (medias / brands…)
Qualifications
• Proven experience within a similar environment
• A proven track record of working within a similar industry
• A well-organised individual with the ability to prioritise workload
• A real team player – lending a hand to ensure deadlines are met
• Must have a strong understanding of release planning and forecasting
• Ability to analyse the music market and relevant data
• Productive, organized and problem solution orientated, demonstrating good decision-making skills
• Experience in digital marketing
• Active interest in the acquisition process
• Strong communicator
• Gravitas and integrity, taking initiative and capitalising on opportunities
• Works to build up credibility and rapport across all levels of the business
• Adaptable within a dynamic, changing environment
