Full Time Job
Work with the Tour Marketing staff on the planning, budgeting and travel for tours, promotional events and live performances while also helping to develop digital marketing plans for artists.
Responsibilities
• Lead the day-to-day execution, management, and optimization of online tour marketing campaigns including but not limited to paid and non-paid social campaigns in support of artists on tour with the goal of driving ticket sales, music consumption, and artist awareness.
• Develop creative tour-focused digital marketing/promotional plans with internal Tour Marketing, Digital Marketing, Creative Content, and Marketing departments.
• Implement tour-specific digital marketing/promotional plans with internal Digital Marketing team and external local media including negotiation of rates and implementation of paid/trade advertising schedules.
• Manage creative testing & campaign optimization for ROI and performance-based KPIs utilizing a variety of tools such as tracking pixels.
• Analyze and provide reports on campaign performance in a proactive and timely manner.
• Create, organize, and maintain tour marketing campaign budgets and ad grids in addition to invoicing and settling advertising costs through the PRS Accounts Payable system.
• Create day of show touring schedules that provide full details of media activity including contests and winner details that may be taking place at the event.
• Provide onsite coverage and support as needed for Los Angeles-based concerts and special events, working closely with Director, Tour Marketing and venue contacts as needed including but not limited to box office manager, promoter, production manager, and any operations staff.
Qualifications
• 2 years of music industry experience, with prior digital marketing or touring experience.
• An intimate knowledge of all label departments would be helpful.
• Expert knowledge of native social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat as well as reporting platforms such as Google Tag manager.
• Understanding of overall social advertising landscape from both a managed and self-service perspective.
• Experience with PRS strongly preferred.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook) and an intimate knowledge of the internet.
• A proactive, organized, self-starter who has strong problem solving, social, and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional communication and time management skills.
• Must be able to create and maintain good relationships with artists, managers, attorneys, etc.
• Multitasking and organizational skills a must.
• Must be able to work independently but be a team player and flexible.
• Must be able to adapt to all situations and handle stress.
