Responsibilities
• Manage the relationship and business with select streaming, download, and physical sales partners
• Communicate key information about releases and artists via priority grids, regular sales calls and face-to-face music presentations
• Propose and execute campaigns for artists, new & catalog releases, playlists, and other strategic initiatives to maximize exposure, streams and sales for artists and releases
• Manage submission process for regularly occurring partner specific promotions
• Regularly recap and communicate the coverage of artist and release campaigns, new initiatives, and other account activity
• Use reporting tools to assess the success of releases and campaigns
• Communicate the performance of releases and partners, and actionable recommendations on strategy to Masterworks team
• Administer concert and venue sales and signings for touring artists in the U.S.
• Work closely with artist management, Sony Music Sales, and Masterworks marketing and release planning teams to brainstorm and execute creative artist and product campaigns
Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in related field required
• 3 years of prior experience in account/client management or digital content sales, distribution, or promotion required
• Prior experience at a record label, music distribution or digital music provider preferred
• Proficient knowledge of Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music and other audio streaming platforms
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent time-management, organization, communication and presenting skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and balance priorities
• A passion for music and the music business
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
