JOB SUMMARY
As Midwest Promotion Manager, in2une Music/AWAL you will be responsible for creating and maximizing exposure for in2une artists through radio airplay in their designated territory/region/market(s). This includes soliciting, securing airplay, developing and coordinating promotions with local radio/media/retails/clubs, and other businesses.
You will be responsible for over 160 radio stations and your coverage will encompass the following high profile markets; Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, St. Louis, Kansas City, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Columbus, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, and other secondary markets.
This is a remote role based in Chicago reporting to CEO, in2une (an AWAL company).

WHAT WOULD YOU DO IN A MIDWEST PROMOTION MANAGER ROLE?
• Secure and maintain radio airplay of in2une priorities at the following formats of radio; Pop, Rhythm, Hot AC, Alternative, Active Rock, Country, and AAA/ Non Comm.
• Establish, build and maintain excellent relationships with each radio station's staff. Meeting with them regularly to discuss in2une's current priorities and future releases.
• Conceptualize, create, coordinate and deliver unique and effective radio promotions that will enable our artists to gain exposure and airplay.
• Work as needed on the fulfillment of various promotions as they relate to radio stations, contesting, and our labels artists.
• Keep in close contact with Format heads and regularly communicate with them to discuss the territory, label priorities, promotion plans/strategies via weekly/monthly reports, emails, and conference calls.
• Adhere to all of the company's policies and procedures regarding Radio Promotion.
• Handle all administrative duties (product requests, servicing radio with new music/mailers, completing monthly recap reports, completing T&E reports, etc.) in a timely and efficient manner.
• Develop strong working relationships with retail, streaming services, lifestyle accounts, club owners, etc.
WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
• 3 years' experience working closely with artists and managers.
• You have experience in a label or product management role within a progressive label and can demonstrate excellent working knowledge of Marketing, Campaign planning, digital music distribution as well as DSP processes.
• Organized self-starter with the capacity to manage an often-intense workload and work in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong communication skills – written & verbal.
• Strong organizational and creative skills.
• You have experience or a working understanding of digital music marketing and promotion.
• You build and nurture internal and external relationships at all levels and can demonstrate an understanding of the needs of artists and labels for building and maximizing their release campaigns.
• You are a flexible, adaptable and strategic thinker with the ability to remain highly organized and efficiently structure and prioritize your workload.
