Manager, Content Development & Promotion

As a Manager, Content Development / Promotion you will play a key role in supporting the team to help our artists deliver music to their fans through content, digital marketing and radio. Your role would serve as a conduit for communication and information flow between RECORDS Nashville and RECORDS NY staffs. You will also contribute to single and album launch marketing plans, as well as plan and execute promotion events. Position requires interaction with members of senior management and other high-level internal and external contacts.

What you'll do:
• Work in tandem with the promotion team and the marketing team to develop and implement content strategy and curation for the roster of artists
• Communicate promotion strategies and artist development opportunities for RECORDS Nashville artists to relevant parties
• Initiate, develop and manage relationships with radio partners to create marketing promotions to maximize airplay, artist and song awareness, and consumption
• Contribute to planning of key promotion events, radio showcases and various radio chain meetings
• Work directly with the digital marketing team to develop strategic digital marketing plans as well as oversee the content curation
• Plan and execute satellite radio tours for artists

Who you are:
• Experience in record promotion/artist management with proven success (Country format preferred)
• Experience in content planning and curation with ties to digital marketing plans
• Extensive knowledge of the music industry (generally gained through 2 or more years of experience), particularly the interplay of airplay and marketing efforts in driving revenue
• Proficient working knowledge of mediabase
• Strong demonstrated organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, including presenting and leading meetings
• Ability to multi-task with an emphasis on detail, to meet deadlines; ability to maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure and changing conditions
• Short form content creation/editing experience preferred
