The Manager, A&R will be responsible for finding and acquiring recording artists, songs and producers as well as leading artist development efforts for designated artists in their genre. Our A&R Managers are music visionaries who are passionate about our talent, thrive off overnight studio sessions and build meaningful relationships within the music world to help drive the careers of our artists.

What you'll do:
• Find and acquire recording artists, songs and producers through demos, recordings, and live performances.
• Cultivate relationships with artists and representatives and negotiate deals.
• Guide artists and producers on their journey with 5020.
• Solicit producers and coordinate meetings with artists and producers.
• Attend recording, mixing and mastering sessions.
• Help artists put forth their best music by recommending singles and key tracks.
• Act as liaison with artist, artist managers and art department regarding marketing concepts.
Who you are:
• Music obsessed.
• Not interested in a regular 9 to 5 job â€'' you live for glory and Grammys.
• Have at least 5 years of experience in A&R and artist development.
• A skilled communicator.
• Have extensive artist relation skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and with competing deadlines.
• Able to handle and defuse intense situations.
• Able to handle talent relations effectively.
• Able to work across multiple departments successfully.
• Can understand, manage, and forecast budgets.
• Willing and able to travel both domestically and internationally, sometimes at a moment's notice.
• Excited and able to attend concerts, artist appearances, and photo and video shoots as needed.
• Able to prioritize attending artist performances, recording sessions and rehearsals.
