We are seeking a proactive, highly organized Junior E-Commerce & Marketing Manager to serve as the central hub between our editorial content team and our online store. This role oversees the end-to-end e-commerce lifecycle, from managing Shopify store operations and product collections in coordination with external partners to bridging the gap between editorial content and commercial conversion. The manager will help support audience growth through data-led marketing strategies, email campaigns, and promotional execution, while providing critical administrative and creative support to ensure seamless partner relations and brand consistency.
What You'll Do:

• Serve as the liaison with Indie Merch and the Shopify developer for triaging product issues (stock accuracy, variant errors) and tracking store improvement requests.
• Monitor daily eCommerce performance (sales, stock, conversion data) to flag issues and opportunities in real time.
• Editorial-to-Commerce Integration
• Ensure all editorial content (reviews, interviews, news) covering a band with merch includes a live store link.
• Collaborate with the editorial/content team to align content calendars with promotional calendars and product launches.
• Marketing & Audience Development
• Support the lead Editor and external ecommerce marketing partners in overseeing the comprehensive email strategy, encompassing both editorial-focused newsletters and sales-driven communications like product drops, cart recovery flows, and promotional campaigns for new arrivals.
• Grow our first-party email and fan data list through digital acquisition campaigns and on-site capture optimization.
• Track and report performance across all marketing channels with actionable learnings for editorial and commerce teams.
• Execute promotional activities, including seasonal sales, bundling strategies, and tracking ROI on content-driven marketing initiatives.
• Administrative/Partner Support: Support occasional outreach to advertising clients, produce campaign recap reports, and handle administrative tasks like invoicing, contractor payments, and creating supporting creative assets (e.g., collection banners, social imagery) using Photoshop.
Who You Are:
• 3 years of hands-on eCommerce or retail merchandising experience, with direct Shopify store management.
• Experience coordinating with a merch fulfillment or distribution partner (e.g., Indie Merch, Printful).
• Strong analytical skills, comfortable with Google Analytics, Shopify analytics, and email reporting.
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop or comparable asset creation software.
• A genuine connection to metal music and culture is a significant advantage.
What We Give You:
• A modern office environment designed to foster productivity, creativity, and teamwork empowering you to bring your best
• The space to accelerate progress, positively disrupt, and create what happens next
• Time off for a winter recess
