This is a Full Time Job
Sony Music Commercial Group (CG) is known as the backbone of the company. As well as running its own active labels, CG is the proprietor of Sony Music’s entire catalogue, representing virtually every musical genre. ‘Catalogue’ refers to anything which is older than 42 months – everything from Whitney Houston to One Direction, The Clash to Miguel, George Michael to George Ezra, Elvis Presley to Calvin Harris, Mariah Carey to Beyonce, Bruce Springsteen to Jamiroquai, and everything in between!
Our catalogue marketing activity exists in conjunction with artists and Sony’s frontline labels on a non-stop basis, taking place when artists are both in and out of album cycle; identifying opportunities, moments, and trends which could bring fans closer to their favourite artists, and which could introduce them to other artists in Sony’s vast catalogue.
As a Junior Audience Manager, you will deliver highâ€'impact audience and social campaigns for Commercial Group artists, with a focus on fan engagement, CRM growth, vinyl sales and streaming. This role plays a key part in executing social, CRM and labelâ€'channel activity across UK artist releases and cultural music moments, ensuring campaigns are delivered with precision, creativity and strong attention to detail.
What you'll do:
• Build and deliver organic social strategies and content rollouts that grow fan engagement, streaming and sales.
• Manage day-to-day artist and label channels, coordinating assets and stakeholders (video editor, social agencies, platform reps, artist management for approvals)
• Develop the label’s CRM strategy: grow and report on acquisition for a roster of UK artists as well as our label mailing list, deliver long term mailer plans, brief all competitions, working closely with central CRM/Business Affairs teams.
• Support team across specific platforms where needed (e.g., Discord/WhatsApp/Snap) and across all admin and verification requests.
• Coordinate with CG Artist Marketing team and artist management for approvals on all the above.
Who you are:
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail, able to manage multiple campaigns and tasks simultaneously.
• Creatively minded, with a strong instinct for social content and running label channels with personality and flair.
• TikTok and Snapchat native, with a genuine interest in Discord, emerging platforms and new tools.
• Strong communicator, comfortable working with internal teams, artist management and external partners.
• Confident working with data and reporting metrics to understand performance and inform next steps
What we give you:
• You join a vibrant global community with the opportunity to channel your passion every day
• A modern office environment designed for you, empowering you to bring your best
• Investment in your professional growth and development enabling you to thrive in our vibrant community
• The space to accelerate progress, positively disrupt and create what happens next
• We give you the platform to champion positive change, with the opportunity to contribute to our social impact, diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives
• We provide an excellent range of benefits like private medical cover, a generous pension scheme, life assurance, income protection, plus loads of music industry perks. There’s also time off over winter break
