Full Time Job
As an Interactive Designer you will work with a wide range of global hit musical artists across multiple genres. You'll be creating social posts, websites, splash pages, interactive experiences, and other awesome promo material. You will be working in a very fast-paced, daily deadline-driven environment in a growing creative team within a label. You'll be working collaboratively with motion designers and art directors to make sure all creative stays consistent and elevated. You will also be willing to learn art direction and production for physical product. This role will collaborate directly with the head of creative, design team members and other departments in executing and ideating concepts for each artist assigned.
What you'll do:
• Oversee the design, creation, maintenance and administration of artist and label web properties
• Be able to work efficiently within a structured project management system
• Ensure that the proposed creative concepts can be produced within specified time frames and budgets
• Manage outsourcing of work for projects that cannot be completed internally.
• Evaluate 3rd party solutions to help make our day to day easier
• Learn how to create branding and artwork for a new or developed artist or group including directing photoshoots, designing covers and packaging
• Work with producers to find the right creatives for photoshoots and content creation
• Collaborate closely with all members of the team in developing the best possible creative throughout an artist campaign
Who you are:
• Expert in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Expert in either Adobe XD or Sketch.
• At least 3 years' experience working in design with or within an entertainment setting, music industry a huge plus.
• Strong knowledge in UI/UX for seamless communications with development teams
• Understanding of social media platforms and their creative specs
• Interest in web trends and upcoming new technologies to apply to workflow
• Strong understanding of typography and type setting
• Knowledge of print design and packaging, or willing to learn the ins and outs of physical deliverables
• A proven track record of working across disciplines to manage projects
• Self-directed, driven, and capable of managing competing priorities under tight timelines
• Interest in new design trends and methods apply to new created and improve workflow
• Ability to hit on different aesthetics for a wide variety of artists from acapella to drill rap
• Ability to work with a wide range of personalities
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting both in-person and virtual
• Ability to work in both east and west coast time zones
• A love for music, fashion and pop culture
