Full Time Job
In this high-profile and diversified role, you’ll report to the SVP of Artist Services and Premium Content for Sony Music US Latin and use your well-honed business acumen to identify strategic opportunities that extend the reach of Sony Music’s artists and increase the revenue growth of the Label. The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating contact with potential partners, defining the scope of the relationship, identifying profitable deal points, negotiating transactions, and managing the implementation within the organization.

Responsibilities
• Spearhead business development initiatives that are consistent with Sony Music US Latin strategy.
• Identify key partners and expeditiously structure, negotiate and close partnership deals.
• Proactively develop new business opportunities including brand marketing deals, touring, social media and PR campaigns.
• Interface with our internal Legal, Production, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure the feasibility of deals.
• Lead or support negotiations of strategic development partnerships.
• Identify additional ways for the Label to meet and increase its domestic and international operating income goals through new forms of revenue.
Qualifications
Education/Certifications:
• Bachelor's Degree; MBA from top tier educational institution preferred.
Requirements:
• Fully bilingual (Spanish/English) a must.
• Experience building and managing a business development team.
• 5 to 10 or more years of related work experience in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
• 5 plus years of experience in the entertainment, music, or advertising industry.
• Experience in forecasting and revenue reporting.
• Experience building and managing a business development team.
• Negotiations of marketing or media alliances.
