Sony Music's innovative and growing merchandising company, Ceremony of Roses, is looking for a Design Coordinator who thrives in a creative environment in the music merchandising business. The ideal candidate has a passion for both music and fashion and wants to contribute to building creative lines of merchandise at different price points and categories for our wide range of clients. The Design Coordinator role will support our design team to help execute all projects as well as keeping all the logistics in an organized fashion.
What you'll do:
• Responsible for all art files on the drive are the latest versions based on final approvals while archiving past designs.
• Assisting with time and action calendar deadlines and project management
• Formatting presentation decks of the designs for Senior Design Directors.
• Creating and cross referencing on tech packs received from internal and outside creative designers which includes having an understanding of color and art size callouts
• Able to edit any minor design updates and changes for any of the 3 distribution channels ( Tour, Ecomm, retail).
• Update artist style guides with new approved designs.
• Display knowledge of typography, illustration and composition.
Who you are:
• Ensure timely delivery of all assignments at the highest level of quality
• Create and uphold brand design style guides
• Needs to work well both independently and with a team with excellent follow through and self-initiative
• Minimum of 2 years design experience using Illustrator, InDesign and or Photoshop
• Basic knowledge in product development

• The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $45k to $50k. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
