The Video Production Coordinator is a dynamic, hybrid position that covers both admin support and creative editorial support. The role is responsible for supporting the VP of Production as well as working with the Director of Administration and other creative group coordinators to create seamless coordination across the entire creative department.
Responsibilities
The Video Production Coordinator position includes, but is not limited to, the following:
• Assisting and supporting the VP with scheduling meetings and travel, screening calls, handling expense reports, timesheets, mailings and special projects upon request.
• Working with Dir., Admin to process documents necessary for video shoots, including invoices and advances, vendor setups, certificates of insurance, routing budgets, reconciling budgets, etc.
• Coordinates video shoots, tracks video projects, and assigns projects to producers based on current capacity.
• Routing rough cuts and finished cuts to clients.
• Archiving finished shoots and raw footage.
• Rough cut editing.
• Assistant editing.
• Assembly editing.
• Simple graphics work.
Qualifications
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position in a fast paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, most especially Premiere Pro and aftereffects.
• Able to communicate effectively with coworkers and clients.
• A team player, but can take initiative and see through projects independently.
