Full Time Job
The Coordinator of Thread Shop will provide administrative support to various members of The Thread Shop. In addition, he/she will ensure efficient day-to-day operation of the Tour Department.
Responsibilities
• Provide administrative support to The Head of The Thread Shop.
• Prepare and Submit Expense Reports.
• Maintain Calendar and Schedule Meetings.
• Manage Phones, Messages.
• Book Travel Reservations.
• Copying, printing, mailing of reports, presentations, etc.
• Prepare and Submit Expense Reports for VP, Design & Product Development.
• Provide administrative support to Tour Directors.
• Update the departmental Touring Schedule and research any new touring dates and developments for artists.
• Research annual festivals for artists on the Thread Shop roster and reach out to festival promoters for merchandise advance information.
• Maintain atVenu settlements, tour dates, products, and pricing. Create reports within atVenu to circulate to necessary departments.
• Maintain warehouse touring inventory.
• Assist in all manufacturing, purchase, and shipping procedures.
• Update credit card machine/atVenu reader/ square reader log to ensure all machines are being returned and used correctly.
• Assist with scheduling pick-ups for shipments via Fed Ex or local courier.
• Research design ideas and keep up with trends to help propose a variety of ideas for upcoming tour product lines.
• Research into emerging artists and possible new merchandise opportunities.
• Other Administrative Responsibilities.
• Administer The Thread Shop Gratis orders.
• Help create social media posts to promote new merchandise and events.
• Process The Thread Shop invoices before submitting to Finance for payment.
Qualifications
• The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree and has 1-2 years of music or merchandising experience.
• Ability to multi task and meet deadlines.
• Highly detail oriented and meticulous.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook) and an intimate knowledge of the internet and social media (IG, FB, Twitter).
• Must have the ability to think independently and take action without supervision, create and develop ideas that lead to positive change or improvements as well as the ability to make sound decisions and solve a variety of problems.
• Must be able to accept changes readily, both in job responsibilities as well as in the work environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to manage time and priorities, set and achieve goals, and juggle multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously.
• Must be extremely organized.
• Must demonstrate the qualities of being a team player.
