Audio Engineer
Location: New York, NY

Description:
The Audio Engineer will support metadata, system, and asset-level requirements for domestic and international users, handling audio content troubleshooting, digitization, master assembly, and quality control. The role involves managing digital audio workflows and ensuring accurate metadata and asset uploads.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed quality control and quality assurance on audio assets.
• Migrate assets into the asset management system, including metadata troubleshooting.
• Perform data entry, clip point identification (e.g., first verse, chorus), and oversee audio mastering/editing tasks.
• Deliver mastered content via FTP, S3, and Aspera platforms.

Qualifications:
• General knowledge of digital audio, quality attributes, and compression formats.
• Experience with audio editing software (Sequoia, ProTools), asset management systems, and FTP/SFTP tools (Filezilla, Cyberduck).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Minimum of 3 years in audio engineering, editing, or post-production, or equivalent certification from a media engineering school.

Salary:
Annual base salary range of $60,000 - $70,000 USD in New York, NY, depending on qualifications, experience, and other factors.
