Position: West Coast Lead, U.S. Release Planning Team
Location: West Coast (likely Los Angeles, CA)
Sony Music is seeking a West Coast Lead for its U.S. Release Planning Team. You will manage the release planning process across RCA Records, Columbia Records, and Epic Records, working with a wide range of label departments to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of physical and digital releases worldwide.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with departments like A&R Administration, Marketing, Commercial/Sales, A&R, Business Affairs, and Finance to manage the delivery of releases.
• Oversee the ingestion of audio and video assets into Sony Music's storage and digital delivery systems, addressing quality-control issues when needed.
• Ensure timely delivery of digital releases, partnering with Sony Digital Operations and Media Production.
• Manage multi-format physical releases, ensuring production deadlines are met in collaboration with U.S. D2C/Commercial and International Supply Chain teams.
• Participate in collaborative planning meetings and lead breakout sessions with internal teams as necessary.
• Contribute to system development, enhancement, and implementation efforts.
Required Experience:
• 5-7 years of music industry experience, with a focus on release planning, project management, or production at a major label.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Salary/Benefits
$85,000.00 - 95,000.00 per year

The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

$85,000 - $95,000 USD
