Responsibilities
• This role will handle relationships with key digital partners and will direct label’s overall business at the partner level.
• Manage accounts through relationship cultivation in an effort to grow each account’s business, maximize revenue and exposure for artists.
• Develop market expertise through continuous focus on and knowledge of the competitive and market environment.
• Conceptualize marketing campaigns and activations with the digital partners, alongside RECORDS marketing team.
• Create compelling pitches for artists to excite and engage partners.
• Drive new business initiatives, concepts and products for the RECORDS brand.
• Propose and help execute marketing and platform campaigns with timely featured positioning for RECORDS’ artists, new & catalog releases, and other strategic initiatives, alongside the marketing & creative/digital marketing team.
• Cultivate strong relationships across multiple accounts, including content/editorial, product marketing, sponsorship, executive levels, and related 3rd party service providers.
• Work closely with research and analytics teams on market trends, gain insights, identifying opportunities, and understanding consumer behavior on streaming platforms.
• Lead frequent partner calls and business presentations with the accounts.
• Regularly communicate the status of artist campaigns, new initiatives, and other account activity to the labels and other teams.
Qualifications
• Music industry experience (minimum 5 years).
• Knowledge of Hip Hop music.
• Demonstrated experience in subscription services account/client management, digital content sales and/or digital marketing.
• Streaming Activity Analytics/Reporting/Strategic Analysis experience required.
• Background in building fan focused plans tied to subscription platforms.
• Impactful presentational skills to convey information and results clearly.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and balance priorities.
• Excellent time-management, organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to take broad campaign concepts and translate into partner specific initiatives that result in sales/streams and impressions.
• Ability to travel.
