Responsibilities
• Work in tandem with the rest of the Operations team to ensure the delivery of all in-house and client content to our digital retailers
• Oversee our internal Ops Concierge service, monitoring top priority releases, making recommendations, and highlighting areas of concern. Maintain consistent, clear communication with all parties involved in a project.
• Continually work to build upon and improve the Concierge service, identifying inefficiencies and suggesting improvements to current processes
• Partner internally (label management, product development) and externally (digital service providers, 3rd parties) to identify, report and resolve issues quickly and accurately
• Work with multiple departments and personnel to implement new strategies that achieve significant operational efficiencies
• Become a subject matter expert on the digital music supply chain, investigating anomalies and presenting options for resolution
• Educate internal teams on updates and best practices
• Continue to maintain a strong working relationship with all digital retailers and external business partners
• Consistently meet and/or exceed performance objectives
Qualifications
• 5 years of work experience, preferably in the music or entertainment industry
• College degree required
• Proven ability to lead a team
• Strong account relationship experience working with high-profile, global businesses
• Extensive experience in defining and documenting business requirements relating to the implementation and enhancement of systems in areas such as digital content delivery, label copy, etc.
• Deadline-oriented and extremely organized
• Ability to work across a multifunctional team successfully. Experience navigating complex problems while partnering with all levels of the organization.
• Adaptable to evolving workload, not afraid to ask questions
• Excellent written/verbal/interpersonal communication skills
Bonus Points:
• Passion for, knowledge of, and appreciation for music!
• Familiar with XML/DDEX and/or SQL
• Familiar with audio and video encoding processes
