Overview:
Administrative Assistant, US Sales & Marketing provides administrative support for the SVP, US Sales & Marketing including, but not limited to, directing phone calls, maintaining calendars, organizing meetings, arranging travel, managing expenses and ad-hoc projects. The role holds additional support responsibilities for members of the NY-based US Sales team, which manages overarching digital strategy for key commercial partnerships.
What you'll do:
• Provide administrative support for the SVP including, but not limited to, directing phone calls, maintaining calendars, organizing meetings, arranging travel, and managing expenses
• Act as coordinating resource between SVP, direct reports and their teams
• Liaise between executive team and a wide array of internal and external contacts
• Coordinate, maintain, and update account contacts and distribution mailing lists
• Contribute to weekly internal Sales newsletter
• Distribute daily, weekly and monthly partner sales figures and designated reports for the department and labels
• Contribute to US playlisting strategy team for SME-owned and operated playlist brands
• Organize weekly pitches from labels for review by playlist curators
• Monitor creation and trafficking of playlist branding and advertising assets across multiple DSPs and paid media outlets
• Post pre-approved social media content on Playlist
• Support Sales team in management of DSP advertising budgets
• Assist in tracking of advertising assets between Creative team, account managers, and DSPs
• Input pre-determined campaign details including; spends, targeting and assets into partner booking resources
• Assist in the composition of SME centralized release schedule
• Ad-hoc projects that require compilation of information across multiple digital platforms and labels
• Keep up to date on market trends, new and emerging platforms and industry shifts
Who you are:
• Have fundamental experience and knowledge of music business, subscription streaming platforms, digital/social marketing strategy and playlisting is required
• Understand basics of how to use and leverage data and associated visualization tools
• Be eager to learn more about the behaviors and platforms that drive growth in music subscription / consumption
• A passionate individual that enjoys working in a creative and forwarding thinking media environment
• Pro multi-tasker and collaborator
• Possess strong leadership and presentation skills
• Have excellent written and oral communication skills
