Full Time Job
The administrative assistant will provide support to the Senior Vice President, Artist Development & Touring.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate travel & logistics with RCA internal departments and external artist management
• Facilitate and distribute RCA artist promo & touring schedules plus artist travel itineraries
• Assist in the production and execution of RCA artist showcases, listening sessions & RCA events nationally (Los Angeles & New York)
• RCA point of contact for designated artist roster during US tours and promo runs
• Attend all LA-based RCA artist shows and events to ensure any RCA staff needs (i.e. Meet & Greets, promo opportunities, parking, ticketing/VIP access & executive entrance) are properly handled
• Liaise between RCA Marketing and Sony Music International teams during RCA artist international promo runs
• Create and maintain touring & promo budgets for RCA artist events, also processing any invoicing within PRS from artist or third party vendors from costs associated with said budgets
• Provide administrative support to the Senior Vice President, Artist Development & Touring (i.e. booking executive travel, expenses, handling phones & executive scheduling)
• Provide general office support including internal office event coordination, office supply orders, conference room booking, tech/AV assistance, videoconference set up
Qualifications
• 1 year of administrative experience
• 1 year of music industry experience in touring preferred
• An intimate knowledge of all label departments would be helpful
• Strong computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
• A proactive, organized, self-starter who has strong problem solving, social, and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional communication and time management skills
• The ability to prioritize and multi-task. Organizational skills a must
• Must be able to work independently but be a team player and flexible
• Must be able to adapt to all situations and handle stress
• Must be able to create and maintain good relationships with artists, managers, etc.
• Must be available to attend local shows, events and concerts when necessary
• Must be able to work with a bicoastal team
