Senior Feature Production Finance Analyst
Sony Pictures Imageworks is looking for a Senior Production Finance Analyst VFX & Animation!

The Senior Production Finance Analyst will be a key strategic partner within the Production Finance team in the support and analysis of VFX & Animation productions working cross functionally with Production and Sr. Management to successfully complete Animation and VFX projects.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide proactive, clear, and concise, analysis and decision-making support to (Digital) Producers in Budgeting/Cost Tracking and (productivity) planning
• Provide insights into opportunities and risks on projects
• Perform complex financial analysis and translate this into concise and informative reports
• Explore and action opportunities to improve our current tools/reporting and processes
• Mentor Production Accountants to help them grow in their role
• Review weekly Estimated Final Cost (EFC) reporting and artist productivity planning reports for Production and our clients
• Support Producers in the (re-)bidding process of projects
• Review month-end reporting (actuals/forecast)
• Part of the annual budgeting process for our projects and overall pipeline (capacity, rates, bidding strategy etc.)
• Oversee reporting systems, process improvements, and ensure policy continuity across all productions
Required Experience/skills
• 7 years of Experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Suite
• VFX/Animation industry knowledge is an asset, but not required
• Strong analysis/interpretation skills
• Excellent communication, organizational and presentation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced multi-show production environment
• Able to prioritize work and remain detail oriented
• Ability to collaborate with various partners
