Position Overview:
The role involves creating, developing, and refining all technical aspects of the Maya animation production pipeline. This includes:
• Developing and supporting procedures and tools for a streamlined and efficient animation pipeline, which consists of:
- Character rigging
- Character animation
- Simulation
- Props
- Layout
- Cameras
- Plates
- Geometry conversions
- General shot asset management
The candidate is accountable for meeting schedules and show deadlines. They will interact with production, supervisors, and team/peers to problem solve and share information related to show/assigned tasks.
Must be able to decipher as well as follow through on work in progress, dailies, briefings/notes, and feedback. Successful candidates should be able to work efficiently as part of a team or independently to determine various pipeline solutions.

Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge of Maya and Python programming
• Experience creating user interfaces with PyQt/PySide
• Knowledge of the Linux operating system
• Understanding of the git version control system
• Familiarity with Katana, Unreal, Houdini, and/or USD is a plus
Most desired:
• 2-year diploma or 1-year certificate; however, minimal requirement of 2-3 years of relevant experience may be accepted.
Salary/Benefits
$26.44
- 36.32
per hour
$26.44 - $36.32 /hour USD + Associate position; $34.04 - $48.89 /hour USD + Intermediate position
