Language in work environment - Excellent communication skills in French and English. Animation roles require interpreting and executing creative direction, animation notes, and feedback from supervisors and directors, often delivered in English. Collaboration with global teams and participation in dailies, reviews, and client sessions frequently occur in English. Additionally, animation tools, pipelines, and technical documentation are primarily available in English.

Summary:

The Head of the Animation Department is responsible for defining and driving the strategic direction, operational priorities, and long-term growth of the Animation Department across both Feature Animation and Visual Effects productions, while partnering with Artist Management to provide contextual information for resource planning and artist development. This is a regular, full-time position.
