Full Time Job
The Receptionist/Administrative Assistant will be an integral member of the Sony/ATV Music Publishing team in Los Angeles. Responsibilities include:
- Primary role as Receptionist
- Assist Manager of Creative Administrative Services
- Assist Office Manager
- Provide backup support to the Creative Department when needed
Receptionist Duties:
- Stationed in the reception area
- Field all phone calls directed to the switchboard
- Open/unlock office at 9:30 AM at and close/lock office at 6:30 PM
- Greet visitors and notify whoever they are meeting with
- Sign for deliveries and notify the recipient of the package
- Send packages via messenger service and overnight services
- Keep reception and conference room areas neat at all times
- Make coffee in the morning, stock kitchen supplies and load and unload dishwasher daily
- Order office supplies and parking validation
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Assistant Duties:
- Gather song credits and writer splits from songwriters when needed
- Research album and single releases and enter into master database
- Assist in following up on unresolved songwriter disputes
- Enter data from source documents into prescribed databases and templates
- Prepare and modify correspondence, reports, and emails
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must Love Music!
- Music Industry experience
- Ability to manage tasks/projects simultaneously
- Professional phone manner and office demeanor a must
- Excellent attention to detail
- Microsoft Office proficient
- Database experience
- College degree preferred
