Role Overview
Songs & Such is seeking a highly organized, creatively minded Publishing & Creative Operations Manager to support the day-to-day creative, operational, and administrative functions of the company.

This role plays a central part in keeping the creative and publishing operation running smoothly by managing details, tracking creative activity, and supporting songwriters and producers in a fast-moving environment. At the same time, the Manager stays actively engaged with the songwriting and producer community, identifies emerging talent, and brings forward creative opportunities, potential signings, and partnerships for consideration.

Success in this role is measured by organization, reliability, creative awareness, proactive communication, and the ability to help the company operate efficiently while supporting a strong creative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Creative & A&R Coordination
• Coordinate and schedule writing sessions, studio bookings, and creative meetings
• Manage calendars and logistics for writers, producers, and collaborators
• Track writing sessions, song outcomes, and creative notes
• Support pitching coordination, follow-ups, and creative submissions
• Stay informed on emerging artists, writers, producers, and creative trends

Publishing & Administrative Support
• Track song metadata, splits, and ownership information
• Assist with song registrations and catalog organization
• Maintain internal databases, trackers, and creative logs
• Support royalty statements, payment tracking, and basic financial administration
• Coordinate with external publishers, administrators, and PROs

Operations & Executive Support
• Serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day creative and operational coordination for a roster of songwriter and producer clients
• Support partners with scheduling, calendars, and meeting coordination
• Assist with travel planning, expenses, invoicing, and general administrative needs
• Liaise with managers, labels, publishers, and collaborators
• Support ad-hoc projects across publishing, management, and operations

Qualifications
• 3–7 years of experience in music publishing, A&R, songwriter management, or a related role
• Working knowledge of the music publishing ecosystem, including PROs, splits, registrations, and royalties
• Proven experience coordinating writing sessions or working directly with creatives
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfort working with calendars, spreadsheets, and internal tracking tools
• Ability to create structure in a fast-moving, evolving environment
• Clear communicator with a collaborative, professional approach
• Genuine interest in both the creative and operational sides of music publishing

Nice to Have
• Background supporting pitching, release planning, or creative marketing initiatives
• Hands-on work with producer or songwriter teams in a management or publishing context
• Familiarity with Film/TV licensing, sync pitching, or music supervision
• Demonstrated ability to help build, refine, or improve internal systems and workflows
