Geoffrey Soffer, an independent talent manager and producer based in New York and Los Angeles, is seeking a full-time associate to join him in representing a boutique roster of working actors, and in producing film and theater projects. Experience at an established talent agency, management company, or casting office, with references are required.
Associate must have a passion for developing and representing stage and screen actors and his/her/their resume should clearly demonstrate experience and ability to jump into this position and succeed. This is a full-time, salaried, career position with unlimited room for development and advancement while working alongside a respected leader in the industry and talented clients.
Associate must possess a good attitude, and have exceptional communication and administrative skills. Must have the ability to handle a high volume of incoming and outgoing emails, texts, and have meticulous attention to detail in coordinating schedules and meetings. Associate will interact with clients, producers, agents, and executives; attend theater, screenings, press events; script coverage; and help identify business opportunities. Familiarity with casting offices and players, as well as the basic structure of casting and talent representation, essential.

Geoffrey Soffer is a talent manager and producer who represents a boutique roster of actors and their creative endeavors. He began his career in artistic development at Roundabout Theater Company, and then spent nearly a decade in casting at Disney/ABC prior to becoming casting director of the hit series ''Ugly Betty''. With director Michael Urie, he produced the feature HE'S WAY MORE FAMOUS THAN YOU and the digital comedy series ''What's Your Emergency''. He was an executive producer of the film adaptation of Jason Robert Brown's acclaimed musical THE LAST FIVE YEARS directed by Richard LaGravenese. On stage, he was a co-producer of the 2016 Broadway revival of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, and worked with Tony Award winner Gavin Creel on his recent American Broadway Songbook concert, presented across the country. Geoff is on the advisory board of the National Society of Arts and Letters scholarship program.
