Part Time Unpaid Internship
ABOUT THE POSITION: As a booking and artist services intern on the Sofar LA team, you will join a fast-paced work environment and be exposed to different elements of event planning. This role is for an internship with the Sofar LA local city team and available for those who can receive school credit. The right candidate will meet the following requirements and must have the ability to work on a Mac OS.
POSITION TITLE: Booking & Artist Services Intern
REPORTING TO: Assistant Director - Booking
LOCATION: Different spaces on the West side
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Artist Services Management
Improve processes by organizing and revamping spreadsheets
Submit new music to the music review team and assist with curating diverse lineups
Assist with pre-show and post-show communication to artists
Manage support of alumni artists through various forms of database upkeep, and social support
Event Operations
Update and maintain the show packets for each event
Create, update & maintain event information on the website
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
Essential:
Well organized and detail oriented
Strong communication skills
Comfortable working to deadlines and solving problems under pressure
Able to wear many hats and take on varied tasks and projects
Possess a strong interest in music
Must have access to your own laptop
Must have own mode of transportation to headquarters in Venice
Must be able to work at least 10 hours a week
LA based and able to receive school credit
