Production Manager

This is a Freelance Job

Responsibilities:
-Collaborate with VP, Scripted to maintain knowledge of creative goals and objectives in order to schedule and budget effectively
with the information from camera, art and director meetings, build detailed budgets and schedules for each shoot block
-Create and distribute production documents including stripboards, call sheets and daily schedules
-Ensure production and post-production plans are in line with proposed production timelines, release schedules and budgets, and flag potential overages
-Act as Assistant Director on shoot days, keeping cast and crew abreast of schedule and corralling those needed on set.
-Review, track, and manage all production expenses in order to create actuals
-Establish and maintain professional relationships with vendors and crew
-Work with accountants to process all necessary paperwork
-Manage payroll process for all freelance employees
-Control workflow documents and effectively communicate updates to crew
-Ensure all company-wide policies, standards, and protocols are upheld on location and in-studio
-Obtain necessary Insurance and Rights/Clearances for performers, locations, music, stock footage, and other production elements
-Source and create opportunities for efficiency in all areas of the production process
-Manage day-to-day responsibilities of full time and freelance Production Coordinators/Assistants

Requirements:
-At least 4 years experience working in producing/production management with a focus on scripted production
-In-depth understanding of the pre-production, production, accounting, and post-production processes
-Experience in diverse formats: commercials, animation, scripted, variety, reality, documentary, photoshoots, digital, social media, music performance, music video
-Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while remaining highly organized and detail-oriented
-Excellent work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
