Smosh is seeking a responsible, organized and versatile eCommerce Manage to oversee all of our brand's merch and consumer products. The eCommerce Manager will work closely with the company executives and is responsible for creating our yearly merch calendar, crafting relationships with outside vendors, managing the day-to-day responsibilities of a fulltime Jr Designer and overseeing all steps from development to deployment, taking a key role in the brand's direct-to-consumer products.
Responsibilities:
Product Development - Organize and intake creative ideas, submitting creative proposals, conducting market research, create and maintain the merchandise release calendars and schedules, based on quarterly goals
Sample Management
Production Management - Creating production timelines and schedules to fill gaps in the release schedule, placing sales orders in bulk, coordinating invoices for open and future vendors, manage vendor relationships, and handle all ASN management.
Email Marketing - Create and deploy a minimum monthly email marketing campaign, conduct A/B testing, implement and optimize workflows and designs, handle vendors and tools such as Klaviyo.
Merch Photo Shoots - Work with production schedules to put together a plan for monthly cast-based photoshoots, direct on-set creative for all product photography, handle ingesting and organization of all products to be used on-set.
Website Management/Optimization - Responsible for all SKU setups, create assets for all product launches, handle design optimization for all releases and retools of product pages, implement SEO best practices, and work closely with the Marketing and YouTube upload team to coordinate releases with regular uploads and launches.
Product Launch & Product Marketing - First line of defense for all upcoming product launches and marketing beats, work closely with the Head of Audience Development to ensure creative voice is consistent across all platforms, handle FB and social media ad spends per launch.
Creative Product Management - Create and present design budgets proposals for approval, handle coordinating legal documents to any and all design vendors, manage the in-house Jr Designer role, run regular brainstorm sessions with key team members for future product launches.
Customer Service - Update inventory spreadsheet and manage backend inventory for all products currently live, be the go-to for all customer needs, forecasting upcoming inventory needs for restocks throughout the year, manage store assets via Shopify backend and on-demand production portals
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in eCommerce, particularly web stores powered by Shopify
Extremely organized with the ability to hit high-stakes deadlines
Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams (branding, social media, content production) and key stakeholders
Strong understanding of (and enthusiasm for) the apparel industry
Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator skills a plus
