Full Time Paid Internship
As an intern with our Marketing team, you will develop an understanding of consumer marketing, branding and advertising campaigns for the Channel and programs. This will be gained via supporting our efforts in developing positioning statements, target demographics, and competitive research.
- Conduct competitive and industry research on projects ranging from competitive branding analysis to researching programming landscapes around upcoming programs and more.
- Assist in creating campaign recaps
- Assist in distributing promotional assets (internally and externally)
- Learn how to update status charts, take meeting notes, proof tactics, some administrative functions
Qualifications:
Required:
• Current undergraduate student (rising junior or above)
• Ability to work at least 20 hours/week
• Strong interest in the Cable/Entertainment Industry
• 2.50 GPA or above
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment under deadlines
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work and prioritize work assignments
• Able to provide administrative support as needed
Preferred:
• Cable television experience, a plus.
• Active participation in extracurricular activities; clubs; and/or associations. Leadership positions while maintaining an above average GPA, a plus
• Prior internship experience in a related field, a plus
• Extremely organized
• Keynote is a plus
