Location: Santa Monica, CA
Semester: 2009/2010
Position: 2 to 3 days per week w/ a 3 month commitment
Required Skills: PC and Mac Proficient, Photoshop and Web Design

SMG Entertainment is a multi-faceted entertainment company
specializing in the management of indie and major label artists. The
Concert Agency is a division of SMG specializing in middle agent
booking. As a booking agency we purchase and produce large scale
concerts, corporate, private, and college events. Clients include
Maroon 5, OAR, Ludacris, Dashboard Confessional, Colbie Caillat, and
Elton John.

DESCRIPTION: Duties are arranged so that interns have the ability to
learn various aspects of the entertainment industry. Along with basic
administrative duties, interns are responsible for:

Coordinating Artist Riders for upcoming shows
Tracking of Artist Deposits and Contracts
Database Entry (research blogs, contacts, potential sponsors)
Lead Generating for Concert Bookings
Social Networking Management for Management Clients
Online Marketing for SMG artists
Assisting in the development of Greek Life Entertainment
