Intern - TV Production

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Project(s) Intern will be working on: Provide general assistance for reality development/production team including, but not limited to answering phones, rolling calls, database entry, filing, photocopying, transcribing, spread sheet entry, on the lot runs, and inventory of supplies. Interns will also assist in the brainstorming and researching of new show ideas. In doing research for new shows, interns will assist our development team during the whole process of research and development.

Intern will witness and be apart of the entire production process, from development to pre-production to production to post production. Great environment to grow and learn the entire process of producing reality television. Will also get experience with shows we have on the air and in post-production, with marketing and promotion.

Goals for Intern: Provide interns with challenging, real-world experience in their fields of study. Introduce interns to the field reality tv development & production. The various aspects of pre to post-production will be learned. Interns will be assigned interesting and challenging projects that vary in scope.



Qualifications: Prior experience in entertainment, especially at a production company or studio, is preferred. Must love pop culture and non-scripted/reality television. TV/Film/Media Studies/Communications Major/Degree preferred. Must be able to get college course credit for internship. Please provide college information and graduation date.

Candidate must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with set deadlines. Handle a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Must be a self-starter and team player. Typing: Minimum of 30 wpm. Know Word and Excel. Willing to learn PowerPoint and Outlook. Knowing Adobe and/or Finalcut pro is a huge Must have a car.
