Search for PR Assistant - Entertainment PR - Brands and Events jobs in Los Angeles-CA
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Monitor and clip press coverage of events and client-related announcements
- Maintain ongoing coverage and status reports
- Provide day-to-day support for clients and colleagues
- Administrative support (updating calendars, coordinating meetings, etc.)
- Manage press lists, guest lists, and credentials for events
- Assist with writing press materials (bios, releases, media alerts, pitches, calendar items, etc.) for clients
- Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Ability to work in-person, this is not remote opportunity
Basic Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Proficiency with Google Drive - Docs, Slides, and Sheets
- Experience using Cision, Muck Rack, Meltwater, TVEyes preferred
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and work matters
- Must be organized and pay attention to detail
- Basic industry knowledge including executives, media, and talent
- Must be a team player and willing to take on any task as needed
- Professional etiquette and work attire
- Interest in pop culture, media, and the entertainment industry
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a PR role or agency/entertainment industry setting preferred
