The Senior Manager will provide support to the TV Production Finance team in the management of Skydance television shows. They will play a significant role in setting up new shows with banking and accounting software setups, closure, and manage prep and wrap accounting. #Media
Responsibilities
• Manage show setup by setting up production accounting systems and production bank accounts
• Oversee various banking functions with the direction of the Finance Executive
• Assist senior executives in the day-to-day management of television shows
• Administer implementation and management of digital solutions and corporate deliverables
• Function as the Accountant on writers rooms and shows in wrap
• Work with Finance Executives in overseeing the entire post process including records management (Box, Optimis, Scenechronize, etc.), show turnover, post- production accounting, and issuing final cost reports
• Draft and submit tax incentive applications and monitor accessibility and achievement of minimum requirements throughout production
• Track and update the monthly tax incentive report for all TV incentives
• Oversee the 1099 processes for all shows annually
• Assist with network audits and internal compliance audits to ensure Studio compliance
• Resolve guild inquiries and supervise guild plan audits
• Ad hoc analyses, additional departmental tasks as required
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of television production finance experience preferred
• Proficiency with Movie Magic Budgeting, GlobalVista/PSL/Smart Accounting
• Highly collaborative with strong interpersonal and project management skills
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrate strong analytical skills, and work well under pressure
• Attention to detail, desire for accuracy, and a strong sense of urgency
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts, think strategically, solve problems, and implement solutions
• Ability to make decisions and problem solve in a collegial environment
The salary range for this position in Los Angeles is $115,000 – $125,000. The salary offered may vary based on the candidate's location, qualifications, experience and relevant expertise, among other factors. The range indicated is for base salary only and does not reflect the total compensation package, including bonus, benefits, etc.
