Matte Painting Senior Artist

This is a Full Time Job

As a Matte painting Senior Artist you will be responsible for painting from photo-real to stylized digital environments or creating 3D elements for matching into 3D plates.

Responsibilities

• Creates photo-realistic and stylized DMP's having Knowledges of how to combine photograph-digital paintings-3D elements.
• Provides input during the visual development/design phase.
• Keeps up on current technology trends and tools (hardware and software) that best suit the production (and the company) in the development of a stronger creative technical environment.
• Works together with the team providing them with support, guidance and instruction in areas that contribute towards their artistic and professional growth.
• Follows the Supervisor's and Lead's guidance.

Requirements
• 5 years in VFX or animation industries.
• 3 years in the animation industry.
• Perfect understanding of shape, light and color, composition and perspective.
• Professional mastering in Photoshop, modeling, texturing/shading, lighting, rendering in any kind of 3d software, and compositing with Nuke.
• High English level desirable.
• Spanish desirable.
