Skydance Interactive seeks a critical thinking, flexible candidate for a Helpdesk/Support Technician position in the IT department. Skills must include the ability to clearly communicate with users at all levels of the organization from executives to artists to administrators, respond and adapt to a variety of helpdesk requests, and be highly motivated for the proactive health of the company's digital infrastructure.
Responsibilities
• Inventory and asset management (ManageEngine)
• Receive and verify incoming shipments from various vendors/partners
• Facilitate shipping of IT items via FedEx or Skydance courier vendors
• Organize studio's tech storage facilities
• Own the IT onboarding of newly hired team members
• Respond and/or generate IT tickets
• Basic administration and troubleshooting of desktop, laptops, and other hardware
• Troubleshooting VPN issues (OVPN, Aruba VIA)
• Build and modify custom PC builds
• Perform maintenance on infrastructure build machines as directed by IT Director
• Assist/troubleshoot users in person and via remote methods (RDP/Teamviewer, Zoom/Slack)
Requirements
• 2 years experience in IT support supporting PC/Windows environment
• Strong background in IT inventory and asset management systems
• Experience with inventory and asset tracking software
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent eye for detail
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to adapt and learn new things quickly
• Candidate should be service oriented and have genuine concern for needs of the staff
• Willingness to work outside of normal working hours to accommodate project work that must occur
• Able to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must be able to commute to the office 2-3 days a week
• Able to work in the United States
The hourly rate range for this non-exempt position in Los Angeles is $26.00 – $28.00. The rate offered may vary based on the candidate's location, qualifications, experience and relevant expertise, among other factors. The range indicated is for base salary only and does not reflect the total compensation package, including bonus, benefits, etc.
