Skydance is seeking an experienced Coordinator to support the TV Physical Production team. This is a fast-paced team covering both domestic and international productions. Potential applicants should have physical production experience (office and/or set), a passion for and understanding of physical production, and a desire to grow within the company. Responsibilities
• Point person for POC's on assigned shows in various stages of production
• Manage the production prep and wrap process; including but not limited to onboarding production office teams and managing assets
• Review DPR's and flag issues for Production Executives
• Works closely and shares responsibilities with other members of the support team
• Manage the execution workflow and distributing to stakeholders as required
• Scenechronize HUB and BOX Administrator; e.g. ensuring proper set-up and access levels
• Creation of distribution lists for projects (production and creative assets)
• Scout and identify Writers' Room locations
• Set up/wrap out Writers' Rooms (furniture, phones/internet, multifunction machine, white boards, etc.)
• Update and maintain internal and external production resources (manuals) and documents (forms and agreement templates)
• During prep, assist productions and executives in planning and coordinating travel as well as any necessary pre prep scouts
• Studio point person for production Risk Management matters to include binding coverage, tracking specialty coverage and managing claims (studio will provide training)
• Coordinate all production and finance documents necessary to set-up residuals and take ownership of the process from start to finish
• Manage transportation teams to ensure they have processed all CSATF, DOT, CA DOT or MCP paperwork and permits in compliance with local, federal and/or provincial requirements (as needed)
• Light administrative for VP, Television
• Ad hoc responsibilities as needed by the productions and the department
Requirements
• Bachelors' Degree preferred
• Passion for physical TV production is essential
• Minimum 2 years' related field experience and / or working for a Network, Studio or Production Company on the physical production team
• Preferred experience working as a Production Secretary, APOC or POC on television shows with a clear working understanding of the production office workflow
• Experience with Scenechronize and BOX
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with staff, other administrators, internal and external customers and senior management
• Organized and detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple high priorities
• Able to work independently and exercise great judgment
• Knowledgeable in all Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to; Word, Excel, and Adobe Suite
The hourly rate range for this non-exempt position in Los Angeles is $24.04 – $25.00. The rate offered may vary based on the candidate's location, qualifications, experience and relevant expertise, among other factors. The range indicated is for base salary only and does not reflect the total compensation package, including bonus, benefits, etc.
