Skydance is seeking an experienced Human Resources Coordinator to help support a growing team in implementing and streamlining HR processes. This role will have a breadth of exposure to all areas of Human Resources within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has a foundational HR background and is passionate about supporting a dynamic entertainment company.
Responsibilities
• Provide administrative HR support, including scheduling, preparing presentations, generating monthly and ad hoc reports, sending employee communications and other projects as needed
• Liaise with business partners including Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Compensation and Finance in order to field questions and resolve day to day employee issues
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to ensure a smooth new hire experience
• Complete I-9 verifications for new employees
• Process transactions for all employees, including but not limited to: personal data changes, promotions, and transfers
• Assist with the process for employee terminations, and coordinate exit process and asset collection
• Keep apprised and up to date on new regulations, company policies & procedures
• Attend and participate in training courses pertinent to Human Resources as required
• Process HR invoices
• Ad hoc projects as needed for the HR team
Requirements
• 2 years of HR or related experience in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with HR information systems (ie. BambooHR), preferred
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
• Highly resourceful and organized with exceptional follow-through and attention to detail
• Extremely flexible and able to easily shift priorities with a can-do attitude
• Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with all levels of management through demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
• Bachelor's degree required
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
The hourly range for this non-exempt position in Los Angeles is $24.04-25.00. The rate offered may vary based on the candidate's location, qualifications, experience and relevant expertise, among other factors. The range indicated is for base salary only and does not reflect the total compensation package, including bonus, benefits, etc.
